Clove bud
clove bud oil is an antiseptic and antibacterial that is largely used for dental health but can also be used for massages and to repel bugs such as ants, flies and moths. It has a strong and spicy sweet sent that is often reminiscent of the festive season. Some ways you could use clove bud -To help with toothache apply 1-2 drops of the oil onto some cotton bud and apply to the area. -Floor and cupboard cleaner that repels insects, spiders and other bugs, add 10 drops of clove bud and peppermint oil to a bucket of hot water. To repel moths hang strips of cloth that have a few drops of clove bud oil in your wardrobe. -Massage oil for stuff joints and muscles. Dilute 1 drop of clove, 3 drops of black pepper, 6 drops of lavender and 8 drops of rosemary into 20ml of carrier oil then message the area well. Warning: Clove bud can irritate and sensitive the skin, avoid topical use unless its a very low dilution of 1 drop per 20ml of carrier oil. do not use in the bath of for steam inhalation. |
